Aunt Dort Knit T-Shirt

Inspired by my Grandma Dorothy's patchwork, this lightweight knit reimagines the t-shirt with a graphic blue and white fair isle design. This knit is made with Yeoman Yarns Phoenix EcoTec yarn, which is a blend of eco-cotton and recycled plastic.

From Yeoman Yarns on their EcoTec yarn: "By using the left-over waste from knitting and weaving of cotton production, we estimate to save up to 56% energy, use 77 % less water consumption throughout the complete process and a reduction of 50% on greenhouse effects. We blend with the recycled cotton with polyester from used plastic bottles. These are subjected to a mechanical process, not chemical and spun into yarn in Italy. This recycled fibre that brings new life to products that would normally have be thrown away. Reducing textile waste to make this beautiful Phoenix Eco tech yarn.
